Description
On June 16, the International Music Festival “Palaces of St. Petersburg in Yerevan” presents a grandiose international musical project “Metamorphoses of Tigran the Great”. In the mysterious evening atmosphere of the site of the Zvartnots Temple, the story of the legendary king Tigran II will be revealed through music. Exclusively for this project, the Neapolitan Music Library provided sheet music of operas by Italian composers Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Pergolesi, and Puccini. Rare vocal skill will be demonstrated by the famous Italian countertenor Aurelio Schiavoni (Italy). Performers: soloist of the Russian and European stages, soprano Marina Zyatkova; laureate of international and Russian competitions, soloist of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theater tenor Boris Stepanov; soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theater bass Karen Akopov; the concert will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra, conducted by Christian Deliso (Italy). The project was implemented with the support of the general partner - Ardshinbank CJSC.
The project partner is the historical and cultural museum-reserve "Zvartnots".
