During the evening, in a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere, the music of the world-famous Italian neoclassical composer Ludovico Einaudi will be played, performed by Tigran Berkelyan, a virtuoso pianist, master of delicate chamber music performance, winner of international competitions.

Ludovico Einaudi presented the final part of the seven-volume musical project "Seven Days Walking" in the fall of 2019. He made wonderful sketches of nature, mood and weather while walking in the snow-covered mountains of Switzerland. The music of the genius composer is perfectly revealed through the light projections of the arches of the church.

Ludovico Einaudi is undoubtedly one of the most prominent representatives of neoclassicism. But success and recognition did not come easily to him. The Italian felt the weight of the achievements of his family members since childhood. Ludovico's mother played the piano. His maternal grandfather was a composer and conductor of Italian operas. His father was a famous book publisher. His paternal grandfather, Luigi Einaudi, was the first president of post-war Italy.

Ludovico considers himself a guide to the world of classical music for a wide audience. His album Elements (2015) was an incredible commercial success. it is the only classical record to top the UK Albums Chart in 20 years. Einaudi's soundtracks brought him great fame. The French comedy "1+1" won the sympathy of millions of people, largely due to its life-affirming music. The world-renowned Italian composer and pianist is the author of more than 20 numbered albums, as well as soundtracks for Darren Aranovsky's Black Swan, Casey Affleck's I'm Still Here, and Xavier Dolan's Dear Mother.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

Tigran Berkelyan was born in 1988. in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia). At the age of seven, he began to receive music education, first at the Kushnaryan Music School in Yerevan, then at the Tchaikovsky Ten-Year Music School in the class of Margarita Hakobyan. In 2006, he continued his studies at Komitas State Conservatory under the direction of Igor Yavryan. After graduating from YEP, he was admitted to a master's program at the University of Agder (UiA) in Kristiansand (Norway).
 
He took master classes from Yuri Hayrapetyan, Ashley Vos, Marianna Shirinyan, Stefan Kovacevich, Aynar Necklberg.
 
The pianist is a laureate of more than 10 international competitions and festivals, including the prestigious Grieg International Competition (Norway). He performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Armenia, Russia, Greece, Israel and Norway.
 
He currently teaches at the Tchaikovsky Music School. With the support of the state cultural support program and the Canadian Atgen Armenian Foundation, master classes are held in many regions of Armenia.

2007 - participation in the "Kamar Art" modern and traditional art festival
2004 - 2nd prize of the Young Performers Competition dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Horowitz
2002 - 2nd prize of the national competition of young performers
