CELESTE are one of the brightest representatives of French avant-garde dark hardcore

The band was founded about 20 years ago on the remains of the screamo band Mihai Edrisch and, starting with a strange and detached atmospheric screamo, with each release added more and more new flavours to their music, making it denser, richer and more multifaceted. Over the course of five released albums, CELESTE continued to blend in such styles as post-hardcore, post-metal and black metal into their music, releasing their latest album Assassine(s) on Nuclear Blast records. The band is currently at the peak of their creative activity and is most famous for their powerful and atmospheric live performances, which you can witness yourself by visiting their show in Tonelab, Yerevan, supported by local sludgemasters Urbatarur and Gloomkvist with his noise-drone guitar experiments.
