MHER MKRTCHYAN ARTISTIC THEATRE
Description
The Ultimate "Armenian Exclusive"! Only for Armenia and only at the Yerevan Artistic Theater named after Mher Mkrtchyan.
"The Sun Line" is an intense dialogue between two people about true intimacy. Witty, ironic, and revealing, it explores the mechanisms that, since the dawn of time, have prevented men and women from truly seeing and hearing each other.
The roles of the spouses are performed by beloved actors and showmen, stars of the acclaimed female comedy show COMEDY WOMAN:
Natalia Epirikyan and Alexander Gudkov
Directed by six-time Golden Mask Award winner Roman Feodori and written by playwright Ivan Vyrypaev.
Synopsis:
A husband and wife find themselves trapped in their own home until morning, trying to navigate a marital crisis. Having long lost their connection, they discover that only an honest conversation—one that shifts their usual roles and perceptions of family life—can breathe new life into their relationship. Together, they strive to cross the symbolic "sun line" that separates them. What begins as a family drama evolves into a profound commentary on a universal issue of our time: the challenge of communication between living beings on this planet.
Vyrypaev's works are unforgettable for their rhythm, self-irony, and sharp tragic twists. They reflect life in all its complexity, with its fear, bitterness, joy, and laughter.
