After losing her mother during the Christmas holidays, successful advertising director Elsa buries herself in work until a personal crisis forces her to stop. Accompanied by a close friend, she travels to Lanzarote in search of healing, while the parallel story of filmmaker Raúl gradually blurs the boundaries between lived experience and fiction. Through these intertwined narratives, Pedro Almodóvar explores grief, memory, friendship, and the emotional price of transforming life into art.
