In 1984, Joseph Brodsky wrote a play called “Marbles”. The action takes place in the second century “after our era” in a prison cell, where the main characters, Tullius and Publius, are imprisoned for life in the crosshairs of hidden cameras. On January 28, the play will be performed in the space of One and a Half Rooms, where Joseph Brodsky lived from 1955 to 1972, until his departure for exile. And, following Brodsky’s idea, the prisoners will be alone in the cell. Hidden cameras will be watching the characters, and the audience will only be able to see the play in an online broadcast
