Description

In 1964, Tigran Mansuryan, a fourth-year conservatory student, was asked to write music for a documentary. The composer recalls that, after considerable effort, he successfully crafted a melody. Following this achievement, he received commissions to compose music for other documentaries as well.
This was how Tigran Mansuryan developed friendship and love with the world of cinema, creating fascinating scores for many beloved feature films.
On May 31 at 19:30, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Harutyun Arzumanyan, will present a concert featuring a selection of film music by Tigran Mansurian at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
